Default Schwan's anyone?

Ok, so the big green/yellow truck stopped by today to drop off the sept./oct catalog today. I am very excited. we used to get food from schwans years ago and stopped when we moved. I requested a catalog last night, today they dropped it off and coming back next wed to get our order.

I am reminded what I used to love ordering, most of that gets an automatic order.

Chicken Cordon bleu
Bacon (best bacon for homemade potato salad)
cookie dough ice cream
Not sure what else.

Their prices seem to have stayed reasonable.

Who else shop's schwans?

Earl, I used them quite often when I lived in FL. It was just easier than going shopping and they have good food...some think it is a little expensive. I figured it saved me time along with driving, and walking through a grocery...it was worth it!!

I loved their water rolls, and they had some whole beans I loved...mmmm, you can also order online...they are even in our neighborhood here. Here is between nowhere and nothing. lol

I used to use them when DDs were little and I was working. I haven't used them in many years. However, I love their ice cream. YUMMY!!!

I also love the money back guarantee, you don' t like the food, (if it tastes like it shouldn't) they will replace or refund, the local grocery store won't.

I like doing business with those that stand behind their products with money back guarantee. It's why we own Cutco knives, Kitchen Craft cookware, and craftsman tools.

The Schwann man stuck a catalog in my door a few wks ago, but I haven't ordered anything yet. I used to, but they would come too late in the day. Heck, I'm already in my jammies.

Might have to give them another try sometime.

I had a catalog for them not too long ago. We're trying to eat more whole foods and not as much preservatives....and since I am home all day I don't look for the convenience factor as much now. Plus, they are waaaay out of my price range.
