uh ... if she doesn't have power .. then the pizza place doesn't have power to make pizzas ...

we'll have to check with Tom at NASA to do a sky drop of some hot pizza!

I think the idea of sending her a remote pizza is great!!

I wonder if they'd deliver it with a note "Love the Neurotalk crew"?

Aw, this really sucks. I know where I live there were a couple of restaurants that didn't lose power. I was actually able to call Cassanos and get a pizza delivered. Of course, there was a two hour wait because everyone else was doing the same thing. LOL

Saying prayers that Sally gets her power restored TODAY!

Give Sally some 's from me. I'd overnight mail her a campstove but then what would she do for propane tanks? I've been through hurricane Wilma, I really feel for her. There has to be something we could do. C'mon Nappy, you're the collective brain of our bunch , what can we do?

Doesn't her kids live near her? I may be wrong but hasn't she talked about having the grandbabies near or am I getting her confused with another member?

Whatever the case, we should be able to come up with something to help.

PS: Just read on the other Sally thread her children are taking care of Sally. Whew! Good to hear, thanks for posting that Cindy!

I feel so bad about Sally. Doesn't she have family in the area? My mom (who is 80) still does not have power either. But she can drive so she has gone out, and has been able to get showers at my brothers. But she wants to stay in her own place. she said she is going crazy withou CNN, her computer, and coffee.

She does, Cindy posted on the other thread that she spoke to Sally and her kids are taking care of her.

Maybe the two threads need to be merged?
