I have, but my MS symptoms are 100% sensory/vision, and I find the acupuncture in my case does help a bit.
I experience burning pain in my head/face, and I have found that it's lessened, but I also take a small amount of Clonazepam which I find keeps the burning at bay. I really think it's highly individualized, and that some will find benefit, and others will not. My chiro does mine, and he uses an Acutens unit (not needles) when working on my facial nerves.

I've been thinking about trying this as well. I saw something on TV about clinics and hospitals using accupuncture on cancer patients to reduce pain and the nausea/dizziness from chemo. Several of the patients interviewed were very happy with it, especially since the pharma drugs used to do the same thing all came with their own set of nasty side effects..

A rheumatologist in Chicago gave me a series of acupuncture Rx.s in the mid 70s, when getting the "proper needles" wasn't even legal...trade ban with China. That series, which was a last ditch effort to avoid narcotics, put an almost permanent end to that particular area of pain. It rarely raises its ugly head now, and when it does, it is so mild it just serves as a reminder of what used to be.

The treatment i am getting in a neuropatic centre in holland is electricty on the needle or Percutane electro stimulation, the electric current enhance the effect of a normal acapunctuur. When acapunctuur is used the body makes endorfine.
If needles in combination with electricity is used this effect is even greater and helpes to stop the decline of the nerve and if your using it long enough it will regenerate the nerves. In holland i met a lady that hat no feeling and no reflex in hear leggs but after using this treatment for 5 years hear feeling and relfexes returned |

I tried it for a while. it was very relaxing, but that was about the only real effect I got. It did seem to help with the pain and I would come home and go straight to my bed for a nap, and it was a deep and relaxing sleep... but not one that was worth $65 a pop 3 days a week.
Like dmpl said... I think it varies person to person, Kind of like how I enjoy ice and electrical stimulation on my back whereas others would experience pain from the ice.
