Default The Weatherf

Is anyone else suffering extreme exhaustion from the heat and humidity or is it just me and I'm a wussy wimp??? It's sapped all my strength and now I'm cranky, to boot..

It's October, fer @#$%* sake. What's with this 80+ degree weather? It was so lovely for awhile with the usual 60 degree highs, for this time of year and, now, back up to the 80s for the past we ek.

We're going to have thunderstorms tonight and the temps are supposed to cool down tomorrow....I hope so..

People talk about not being able to put up with another Ohio Winter....Im looking forward to it and I really don't think I can do another Ohio Summer.

How's the weather effect you, in your neck of the woods?

This change of weather is driving me crazy.

The morning starts out very cool. You dress accordingly. By lunch
time it is so hot, that you start stripping and changing into summer
clothes. By early evening it starts getting cold again and you are changing
into warmer clothes.

Every time the weather gets like this it seems to effect my health in
a crazy way. My body starts acting like I have the flu, chills, sweat, cold,
pain all over, low grade fever and severe fatigue.

Mornings now are so hard to get up, I just keep saying a few more
minutes. But after Sage pesters me enough I get up, take her out and
come back in and go back to sleep for another couple of hours.

This started about 5 yrs ago with me when the weather acts like this.
I don't know if it has anything to do with the ms or what causes it.

Thanks, Jappy you just told the story of my life....word for word.. I should take some comfort in that, but now, I just feel sorry for both of us..

Don't expect much relief in KY, Sweety.

frank and i can always tell when a storm is coming ... my neck, shoulder, and back start hurting real bad and frank's ms sx flair as well as his back hurting.... its the up and down that does it ... once weather levels out the pain lessens ... its been raining here all day which makes for a gloomy day anyway ... add to that sweatpants and shirt this morning ... shorts and tshirt by afternoon and back to sweats after dark .... ugh!!!!!! like i dont have enough laundry as it is...

so ... in answer to the question/statement ... no its not just the msers that feel weather ...

I've learned to dress in layers ~ Even in the summer. When it's hot outside, the air conditioning is blasting inside at work. I've used space heaters and blankets over my legs when it's 90 degrees outside..
This time of year, it chilly in the morning (in the 30's, low 40's) and anywhere from 50 to 70 degrees during the day. I'm always adding layers on, or taking them off. It's the only way I've found that works well so far...

That noise you hear over there is us up here in Maine, Sal. We're banging on the pipes and yelling:

SEND UP THE HEAT!!!

I am freezing here!

Same here. I have absolutely no energy--not that I ever have much--but this is the pitts.

For three days now, we have had 85-88 degree weather. We are supposed to get a front tonight or tomorrow, and it is supposed to go down to a high of 60. Hooray!!

Last weekend we were in northwest Mass., and the weather was absolutely perfect. I felt a lot better while I was up there. The trees were gorgeous, not a cloud in the sky.

Yep Sally, hear ya totally. 80 in Ohio in October? Been weird and been having muscle fatigue issues the past few days. But it's rainy today, and hoping the temps drop back to being fall like.

Hi Sally, I think we have about the same weather as you here in SE,PA. It's really sticky with humidity today and about 75 degrees. The past few days it was in the 80's. I hate it. Last week and the week before it was feeling like Fall. Now it seems it's back to summer. I feel achey, my mid back hurts more than normal and I feel more fatigued than normal. Hang in there, looks like we're going back to Fall after today.
