Thank you from the bottom of my heart. You guys are the best.
She should be released from the hospital today. They thought she had a subdural hematoma but she didn't. I'm not sure of all of her injuries but both her arms are broken so she has a long recovery ahead of her that will be made worse by the fact that her momma isn't there to take care of her. I'm not worried about her physical recovery as much as the emotional.
They were pinned in and awake while they were extricating them so I think her mom had probably said her goodbyes. Carolyn had told the EMT's she was dying but I'm not sure if that was while she was in the car or in the ambulance~I'm hoping Kelsey didn't hear that.
Carolyn was an organ donor so I'm finding comfort in knowing that part of her will live on. I hope her heart found a home because she had a great big loving one. She was the type person that could not see you for years and could see you again & pick right back up like she has just seen you yesterday. She was a great nurse and a wonderful friend & many people will miss her. Rest in peace my dear friend.
