In Remembrance
|
At about 9:30 am CST, or in about 1-1/2 hours, the European Space Agency is bringing down their first ATV (Automated Transfer Vehicle), their unmanned internation space station resupply rocket.
They say 70% of the rocket will burn up in the atmosphere, but that some components, ranging from 10 kg to 100 kg, will hit the planet. They're targeting the south pacific ocean. Let's just hope they done calculated their de-orbit burns right... It is their first time... Tom |
