Default Wooden Arrows

Title V, Additional Tax Relief and other Tax Provisions, Subtitle A, General Provisions -

"SEC. 503. Exemption from Excise Tax for Certain Wooden Arrows Designed For Use By Children"

This is a strange thing to find in an emergency finance bill but it's in what the Senate passed yesterday. Page 300.

The Senate's got the House by the short hairs. This bill is absurd. I kind of wish the dems would simply say NO and rewrite the APPROPRIATE ugly-but-necessary bill themselves... and then pass it - elections be darned. I kind of wonder if that's the game the republican's are playing here. Pretty shoddy stuff and at the this point in history? Downright shameful.

This is an example of the Senate's attempt to buy-off votes with OUR money.

The entire process is pitiful.

Very interesting what they seem to think is necessary. You have to wonder.

Can we kick everyone out of Congress and the Senate and start over fresh with new people who've never done it before? They couldn't do any worse than the current batch of politicians.
