Here's hoping it all went well. I had mine done 30yrs. ago and that
was with the big incision.

Now take advantage of the time that you should by resting and
REST.

Keep us informed.

Poking at Doydie (cause she is still sleeping)...did it go okay?

Here's hoping everything went fine and your recovery is speedy..well except for the part about doing housework of course!

don't poke at her...you'll wake her up! She needs her rest. So shh! Let's tippy toe in her room....leave her some pretty flowers, and tippy toe out.

I hope all went well too, Doyd! I had mine done a few years ago, small bikini incision, cervical cancer. But no they got it all. Oh yeah, and 4 or 5 fibroids...those nasty things.

Thanks for all the thoughts and prayers. I got home this afternoon. My DH was working so I called on my daughter to take me home. I didn't give it a thought that she has a jeep! Glad it was only about a mile to home.

Even though its is the laporoscopic surgery, it is not a piece of cake! Surgeon treated it as it was the big incision. I had those cute white hose on with the continous pressure things going up my legs, catheter, check urine output every 2 hours, IV until about the minute I walked out the door.

Every thing seemed to be fine they find a large benign tumor on my left ovary. I'll get the complete report when I go for my 6 week check up.

He said to not do anything at all until next Saturday. He said if I felt like cooking a grilled cheese sandwich I had to wait until next weekend. I can go out to eat, just not drive.

OH, the bed and pillows were an insult to modern bedding so I didn't rest well and someone had this great idiea to put my IV in the bend of my left elbow, yes I'm left habded. This wasn't the surgery IV which has to be a large IV. It was in my right hand but came out shortly after I got to my room. So they put a little bitty IV in my left elbow which got occljded about everu minute. So my arms have about 7 battle scars.

I bet you are happy to be home! Make sure you follow doctors orders or we will send Twiffy out there to take care of you!
