Heart All is well with Amie and me.....

We had the ultra sound and everything looks great. Amie is not as big as what they first thought. She is between 6.5-7.5 lbs and I have a normal amount of fluid. They tried to do the 3d ultra sound but she was stubren and would not move her hand away from her face. The only thing that we could see was her cute little nose and lips. From that she is going to look a lot like Hannah, Daddy's in trouble, so I know she is going to be cute. She has hair. You could see the fuzz on the top and the hair on the back of her haed was floting around.
I can't wait to see her.

Yay! Good baby news. I read the other thread, but don't think I commented. I am glad this ultrasound turned out well. I had a few scares with my babies, too, and it is never fun waiting for a repeat ultrasound to see if everything is OK.

Wasn't there an issue with you wanting to donate the cord blood? I don't know if you ever got that sorted out or not, but I just read an article in the Pittsburgh Post Gazette about this. I don't know if it is possible for your hospital to coordinate with Magee here in Pittsburgh or not, but this sounds like a good program:

I was denied donation. They are not taking any cord blood for reserch right now due to lack of funds. For public donation I was denied because of the MS. Oh well.
I will look into the program Thanks
