Default DeKalb or bust
I need a change of scenery in the worst way and I'm in the mood to take a ride.

I've chosen DeKalb, IL as my first destination so I'm sending out an open invitation to anyone who wants to buy me lunch or dinner at a real dining establishment where someone else brings food to me on Thursday Oct. 23. Please take a number.

I wish I could take you up on that offer, Cindy, but have had to cancel my planned trip to Houston/Dallas in early Nov due to upcoming surgery.

I was in IL about this time two years ago, and LOVED Chicago. I'll get back there one day!

You like Chicago??? Now I know there is something seriously wrong with you...j/k...Chicago is to be avoided at all costs...drive around it, never fly into it on purpose...stay south...way south!

Oh now come on, it's not that bad. I drive Chicago on a regular basis. It's called offensive driving around here. Defense comes into play when you are out numbered. Then you drive in the right lane.
