How many times have you asked yourself 'why' this happened to you or someone you know? Did you get an answer? Then you had to ask 'why' you didn't get an answer?

Why? Why, do we feel that we just got to have answers for things that happen in our lives? Let's jest take a look, if I plant a flower in the best soil, water it, fertlize it, might even pray over it and check on it often. Yet, my flower still dies before it ever blooms...do I ask why? Why, did my flower die, I did everything I was supposed to do to make it grow...or did I? Did I remember to look for amphids, or other lil ole critters that might be hiding out under that best soil?

Maybe they were not the cause at all, maybe that flower was jest not supposed to grow and bloom. Maybe I didn't bother to ask why at all because it wasn't important enough to concern myself. Why? Why wouldn't it be important enough...it ain't like I want to go to all that trouble jest so that danged plant can take up good soil, turn brown and fall over.

Why even trouble myself with all that work if the stupid seed ain't gonna sprout or the sprout ain't gonna grow or the plant ain't gonna grow and the flower ain't gonna bloom?!!

Well, ifn you'd stop asking why so much you'd see the answer...cause when a plant does grow and flower does bloom it brings such joy and pleasure. Do you think its any different with people? Well, it ain't and that's jest the way it is so quit asking why and drink ya hot chocolate...and wrap up with this here quilt its cold out here.

Keep them socks on yer feet, take yer shoes off ifn ya want...but its too chilly to be havin bare feet on the porch today...and its gonna rain in a bit.

I've stopped asking "why". One day I'll know.....but until then I just have to have faith that this is the way it's supposed to be.

HereKitty...I'm with you, ain't no use asking why, we are given some choices, some we are not. The ones we are not, we just need to have faith that it is for reasons we might not ever know.
