As you guys mostly know I am new here. Was diagnosed last Friday and have been living in turmoil ever since, but getting better.
I get a call yesterday as I am about to leave work from my best friend's mom. She is hysterical. My friend you see, has been having trouble with her hip for a few months now. After many X-rays she gets a call form the Doc telling her he needs her to come in as soon as possible for an MRI. Which is today. And all I can think about is that is exactly how mine happened I went in for what I thought was a pinched nerve and the emergency MRI came back with MS. And of course this is what her mom is thinking after we just went through all of this last week. So we are all freaking out over what could be nothing. And I just needed to vent! So thank you! |

Vent away, that's why we're here. Praying for you and your friends.

Hey, Legz, that does stink, but don't you dare internalize all of your friend's stress, you don't need it! This is a perfect example of the stuff of life that can really mess with us.
Let's hope that it's a fixable situation with your friend and that this will one day be a distant memory.

so true AMN, Legzz you will have enough stressful issues to balance as it is, taking on more, will come back to bite ya...Not saying dont care about it, but rather be careful how much you add to your stress. I am glad to hear you are coming through the initial MS smoke screen. Dont hesittat to use this site for all its worth, NT is a godsend
I pray and hope your friends MRI comes back clean and they are also able to help your friend feel better
