Just to add to what I ahve all ready posted. There were alot of things going on that day. At one point I had 4 docs checing me and talking to each other and saying that all the landmakrs are gone. There was a buldge there that they could not figure out what it was. After taking some guesses tehy figured out it was my bladder and it had also pushed Amies head out of the pelvis and she was laying transvers. Once they got the 900cc out of my bladder with in 15 min Amie went back down to her -3 station. The had decited to keep a cathader in me all night and it was a good thing they did they got another 1700cc out of me within 3 hours.
I was crushed when tehy started talking about sending me home because I was not going past 3cm. I feel as if my body failed me and I could not even give birth to my child. I go tomarrow to find out if I ahve prograssed any and to see where we go from here. I will be 40+1 weeks and I don't want to go past 42 weeks. I think Amie is about 9.5-10 lbs now and she will only get bigger. I will let you all know what is going on when I get the time tomarrow( if I am not in the hospital) I don't know if this is going to wind up in a c-section or not. Thanks  |
Hang on, Turt, it won't be much longer.
Amie! You are barking up the wrong tree, missy. Don't you ever pull a stunt like that again! If all the kids were refusing to exit the womb, how would you feel? Huh? Oh sure, it's funny now! It's all fun and games until someone loses an eye! Now you get your little tail upstairs to bed and no horsing around! Do you hear me? Do you? Yikes. :o Now and then a little maternal instinct slips out! :o |
Aww poor thing. I am so sorry you are still preggers!
That kid is just not coming out! She likes it in there! Good luck tomorrow! We'll be praying for you. I am sure we can scrounge up a chicken to sacrifice if that doesn't work. Maybe do a little dance, I'm in the:D mood for some chanting... Good luck! |
Hang on...she will be here soon!

sue,
if amie is in a transverse lie position they will have to do a c-section to deliver her. she's probably too big to try to turn her. either way you will deliver her and be her mom. remember to take pride in that. you've gotten her this far and you'll take care of her thru her birth. i'm rooting for you. good luck tomorrow. |

Aww...Sue. I'm sorry this is taking so long. I know how you feel. My youngest son Kevin did the same thing to me. He was late and wound up weighing over 10 pounds. But...it was all worth it after he was here. I hope things go well for you and the next time you update it will be with little Amie in your arms.

My last baby was transverse. I went into labor, got to the hospital
ready for my c-section and he had moved. Two hours before I had been checked and he hadnt moved. cool. Sooooooooo keep your fingers crossed and I will keep praying for that last minute move. |
Good Luck today Sue, I really hope today is the day for Amie to arrive!!!
Amie, you need to listen to AMN, believe me it is for your own good!!! |
