Do you ever feel like you just don't belong? Even though you have been there for a long time, you know the people care but you just feel like you are in the way or not wanted?

I don't know why I feel this way but just seems that is how I feel about everything. Weird. Maybe it is hormones? Age? Weather? Sinus Infection? Time Change? who knows.

Just wondered if anyone else ever felt the same way at times?

Vent away darlin' that's why we are here. Lord knows I have done enough of it in the last week.

I think it is a change of seasons. I always get depressed when it gets cold and I realize yet another summer has come and gone.

And I think everybody feels unwanted at some point or another. I know that is of no help right now but I think we have all been through this. If you ever need to talk don't hesitate to PM me I am always in front of the computer. (this is what work and school do to you)

And hang in there. it will get better. Of course, chocolate helps.

I don't belong here and neither do you CharWoman...

I belong out there in the world, taking care of and having all the Joy in, being a Friend, Wife, Mom and GrandMom..Just enjoying life in every way and living it to the fullest.

I don't think other people are feeling as if, or treating us, as though, we don't belong.....I think it is our own guilty conscious, telling us we don't belong, because, we don't want to belong.

Or..........it could be the weather..LOL..

(Didn't there used to be a Far Side joke about that at one time?).

I know I am an anomaly in many ways (even with this disease process), so I just keep doing whatever I want anyway. I know some people appreciate my idiosynchracies (at least sometimes ), and I'm WAY past caring if others don't.

Just keep being you, and this too will pass.

I don't feel that way all the time, but I do feel that way. A long time ago, somebody asked me what my theme song would be, and I immediately thought of that Sesame Street song, "One of these things is not like the others, one of these things doesn't belong."

I don't know WHY I get to feeling that way, but I do. I look around and think, "OK, I'm the freak here." Not that I think I'm a freak, but compared to whoever is surrounding me. I often get the feeling that I stick out like a sore thumb, even though intellectually I know it isn't true.

Back to Psych 101, I guess.
