Awwww, azoyizes, sorry for all the rude people when you went. Maybe take a cattle prod next time? :p
Bravo Vonn, for wanting to donate your body. I'm willing to donate parts of mine for transplant, but can't quite deal with donating da whole enchilada! |

After spending my young life in the world of biological sciences, cadaver dissections and some previous unspeakble activities,..., there is no way that I will go to the display. It does not give me the creeps, but is just nauseating to me. My wife and all of my collegues have just raved about it...and I am in the minority. -Vic |
Amazing and yet, like Vic said, a little sickening..

I wouldn't mind donating my body (after I die :o) so that they can use it for MS research and a possible cure. The mere mention of that nearly causes a riot at my house so if I really want that to happen I need to put it in writing. I am an organ donor and nobody seems to have a problem with that.....I tried to tell them that if I donate myself to this exhibit then I'll be viewed by thousands of people and I will look thin!! :p

I took my DD when she was 8 to see an exhibit that was here called Our Body, The Universe Within. We both found it very fascinating. After we went through I asked my DD what she thought. She said it was very cool but decided she doesn't want to be a doctor! LOL. My favorite exhibit was the body that was sliced from front to back into many pieces and each slice was placed in glass. So the first slice was the very front of the face and the last was a slice of the outside of the buttocks. It was fascinating to see how the body actually looks slice by slice. I am so glad that we went, it was a once in a life time experience unless the exhibit comes back!

go see it twink.
it was in denver several yrs ago. a friend and i went. we were both fascinated. it was wonderful. they also have a demo of neurological anatomy. and being a neonatal nurse we were also very interested in the fetal exhibit. that's a little hard to take but we were in awe of the babies we were able to save. and the ones that lived that premature. also, know that the "people" you see donated their bodies for education. it's something they wanted to give to the public. |
I wish I had gone to see the exhibit when it was in Vegas but missed it. If it comes back this way again I will go see it.
DH and I have already signed to donate our bodies (after death) to science. |

It was here in Chicago for some time and I wanted to go. If I were near I'd go with you and hold my hand over your eyes for the scary parts.
