Isn't that the same thing that took the life of the actor in "Threes Co" and another Family sitcom...(I can't remember his name)??

I'm not actually sure. I'll look it up though now out of curiosity.

I am so saddened by the loss of your ex's family.

A donation is an amazing way to show compassion.

Laure, I am sorry about your ex's brother.

I believe you are all thinking of John Ritter. Here's a piece from his biography.

Quote:

That same year, he first felt ill while rehearsing on set, and was rushed across the street to Providence St. Joseph Medical Center in Burbank, California, where he was diagnosed with an aorta dissection, which meant in layman's terms, an unrecognized flaw of the heart. He underwent surgery and died on September 11, 2003, just days shy of his 55th birthday.

I made a small donation to the Heart and Stroke foundation, and mailed a card via the foundation to his mother and him with a trillium on the front of it.

My mom said to skip the donation, she knows money's tight for me these days (been out of work so long on LTD), but in all honesty, even making a small donation goes a long way towards helping others.

I spoke with the ex again last night, and he said his mom's holding up very well despite everything. She is an amazing woman. Definitely deserves every "Mom of the year" award possible.

That's heartbreaking..I'm so sorry.
