Well here it is. I don't have anything on or around it of course so everything looks bare. It has a neat halographic flame.

Looks really similar to the electric one they had at CostCo that I was going to try to get my dad to buy before he decided to get the gas fireplace that's going to be installed in January.

I would have taken a better picture but we left all the tables and chairs downstairs after Thanksgiving dinner so they are there for Christmas. So it's kind of a mess down there. I'm tired enough that I don't even have my tree up yet. It will go in the corner next to the fireplace. I want to get a nice rug and place a couple of chairs around the fire[lace. But for now the tree comes first, leaver everything alone because we have to put three big tables and a buffet table down in that space.
Plus I have to get all my Moms decortations over to he rnad help her get her apartment decorated. And I haven't got any presents except 3! I'm tired. It may be money gifts for everyone! |

That photo looks just like the fireplace I had in my bedroom when I was small.
In those days, fireplaces were wood fires of course and not electric, but your's does bring back many lovely memories. Thank you for sharing Doydie.

My DH says it makes a difference around the foyer but because the family room is downstairs in a bilvel he doesn't feel it that much in the actual family room. Maybe if we closed the bedrrom door and put up some kind of screen to the stairs the heat would stay there. But his cup is always half empty.
