Default Looking for fun board games

Would like to buy a board game for my 19 y.o. daughter -- one that she could enjoy with friends.

Pictionary?
Trivial Pursuit?

I don't know.

Any other ideas?

Maybe this isn't designed for adults, but Apples & Apples was a hoot when I played with my grandkids and my daughter, H, and SIL (we outnumbered the kids). Killer Bunnies and the Quest for the Magic Carrot was fun too. (I swear it started out as Kill the Bunnies.) DaVinci's Challenge was another good one.

I'm a sucker for old fashioned games--Monopoly, Life, Parcheesi, Chinese Checkers. There's a reason they've stuck around.

Hmm.... I'll have to think.

Apples to Apples is fun...as is Cranium...my 24yr old DD loves that one.
she also loves Blogus...or is it Blokus? anyway, it's a patterning game...it's fun.
Also, Catch Phrase (fun with a group), Taboo, Sequence...cribbage.

Sequence is a lot of fun! So is Scattergories! Monopoly is always a favorite!

Thanks, all. I got her Cranium last year, and I really enjoy it, but she's not real into it, for some reason.

We have Sequence and Monopoly at home, and she never plays them. I think she's less into the older games than the newer ones, although some older games she plays include Yahtzee and Dominoes.

I've always enjoyed Taboo. That's a good idea. I'll put that, and a few others mentioned on my list too, and I'll plan to go shopping this week.

My DH went shopping with me. We chose Catch Phrase and Taboo . We'll wrap one for DD, and one for the whole family, and, if she wants to trade, she can choose her favorite.

Thanks, everyone!

Good deal, Faith. I'm sure she'll like them. Taboo is one that I love to play. Just couldn't remember the bloomin' name when I posted game names.
