I would just like to say a very big 'Thank You' to Vonn for making me such a lovely quilt - it arrived today and I absolutely love it! It is SO me and sooo warm - I have it wrapped round me whilst on the computer now!! She also sent me a lovely t-shirt and some lipgloss which I absolutely love!!
Vonn - Thank you ever soo much for doing this for me. I know how much time and effort you must have put into making the quilt to make it so lovely and I could never in a million years, thank you enough  ! You're the best friend anyone could ever wish for and I hope you know how much I appreciate everything you have done for me - you're the best!! Thank you SO much for brightening my day and for doing this for me! I absolutely love the quilt and the colours and everything!!Thanks again!

you are so very welcome, Ali ...
but - for those of you that are interested, Ali helped me with the precise size that I need to make for children with my quilt program ... I redesigned what I had previously done - and timed myself ... this size quilt for children consists of 6 blocks ... in Ali's quilt - there are 6 - 10 inch blocks with 2.5 inch lattice above and below (left and right) .. and the back is solid purple fleece ... I'll add some of the blocks that are close-up ... thanks goes to Ali that helped define the children's quilt size ... something new to the current quilt sizes ... I've actually created a new trend!! I posted all the blocks in my profile, if interested ...

Very pretty and a fleece side to boot! I bet it's nice and warm, Ali!
You and I are part of a select few people, I think! I have a beautiful pillowcase that Vonn made for me when she was my Christmas partner. It's very colorful and cheers me up every time I look at it!

hey Twink .... according to the Postal service - they told me at LEAST 3 weeks ... and she got it in ONE week!! so, Santa made it work!!
and Laura - the colors are more vibrant in person ... and I used fabric that's called 'batik' with lighter purple and then for the lattice - a very strong purplish-pink ... I didn't plan it, but it looks like stained-glass windows ... thanks to Ali - I'm writing a pattern book for this special size!!

Thank you all so very much for your lovely comments, they mean a lot!!
A very big Thank You again to Vonn for taking the time out to make the quilt - I am SO happy with it and it is waaay better than I ever imagined it to be!! It is SO lovely and soft and really comfortable and warm and even has my name engraved on the back of it!! The picture that Vonn took doesn't really do it any justice - it is a LOT better in person than it is on the picture and the colours are really lovely!!! I'm glad I could help you with the quilt also Vonn but honestly, I don't need thanking - it is YOU that needs thanking as without you, non of this would be possible - you're the best!! I couldn't thank you enough in a million years and I hope and pray that you have a great Christmas and a happy new-year!!!
