Default I think it's winter

We have a Brrrrrr Warning (a/k/a WInd Chill Advisory) up here tonight, somewhere around -30. The actual temperature is not going to be that cold, only about -15.

I've been reminding my cats that they should be thankful that they are INDOOR kitties.

I kinda noticed that..
My cats stuck their noses out the front door, but oddly didn't try to run outside. ..Good thing, 'cuz I would have lost 'em in the snow. 4-6 more inches tonight (Sarah, I think it's coming your way again, too)..
Never thought of chickens..Gee..I can't think of anything much worse than having an egg frozen to my..well..you know.
Stay warm everyone, and no bonfires in the house!
