No it's not. Just letting her know that we are supporting the east coast lobster industry all the way out here in land locked Idaho! We bought Maine Lobster and had it shipped all the way out here just for Christmas Eve dinner. It's a tradition! :p

Lobsters here at Christmas were selling here for around $20 per pound, and because we didn't have that sort of money.... we didn't have lobster this year!

I envy you to be able to get them at 3:99. Lobster has to be my most favourite luxury.

Lobsters have been down as low as $2.70 off the boat - a low. DBF talked with a friend yesterday who said that a lot lobster men picked up traps and docked boats 2 weeks ago as a fight that prices were to low and they are not making any money.

They do this every few years and then when the lobsters are gone they will go back out so to make the price go higher for demand. Just doesn't seem right but that is how they work from what I have been told.

Glad you bought Maine Lobster, FG and supported our state. A lot of lobsters are coming out of Canada being sold here in Maine.

Then why are they selling here for $18 a pound! The middle man is sure making a heck of a lot of money!!! And that wasn't just the shipping cost either!!!:mad:

Yer in the wrong business Yabbit....

that was back a while. $18 a pound for mailing is pretty good. Last year at Christmas I mailed to my DB in VA and it was $22 a pound. That cost not only includes the lobster but the packing and handleing

How is your dd Char??????????? I remember once my dd had a virus, just
flat out sick. the worse part was every time she would urinate she would
scream in pain.....no uti or bladder infection:confused: . she was hospitalized,
they said it was just a virus....who knew a virus could cause such discomfort!!

Well, I hope she is on her way to recovery!!!!
