Default Could it be...a cold?

I think I might be coming down with a cold. Stupid as it sounds, it's been so many years since I've had a cold that I'm not sure! A couple of times I thought I was, but it fizzled out and was probably an allergy or something.

I actually haven't had a cold since being diagnosed, or even since having my first discernable symptoms 8-10 years ago, so I'm wondering how MS and rhinovirus might get along together.

I should know for sure by tonight, so I'll probably be analyzing every little sniffle and snurk between now and then. What are the "statistics" on persons with MS and the common cold? Are we (supposedly) more or less likely to come down with one?

Same for me. Hadn't caught anything for 10-15 yrs. No colds, flu, pink eye, nothing.

I got a cold a couple weeks ago and it hit me really hard, achey, fevery, couldn't sleep.

Didn't affect my apatite though.

If it affected any sx I could not say cuz I already felt so crummy.

Hope you feel better soon.

Sorry you don't feel good B2U, I hope it doesn't linger and you are back to your "blessing" self by tonight!

B2U, I still get colds but they are not as bad as what my family will get. They always seem much sicker. What I do end up with is increased fatigue and sx's. So take it easy and get plenty of rest. I hope you feel better soon.

You know what they say: Feed a cold and feed a fever. Oh wait, I'm the one who says that.

I hope you aren't getting a cold.

I have a huge canker in my throat that's slowly getting smaller, but on top of that I have soreness in my throat on the side unaffected by the canker.

Like you, I'm just waiting. If it's still bad tomorrow, I'll have to go to the clinic and have the throat checked out. Grumble.

Have some chicken soup B2Y. Maybe you can head it off before it gets bad.

This is the fifth day, and all I have is a cough, which comes and goes. My voice is sounding a little low. Oh well, if it hasn't got any worse than this after five days, I'm going to ignore it. Other than not smooching or breathing on anybody.
