I only make resolutions I KNOW I can keep..
1) I resolve never to eat brussel sprouts.
2) I resolve to wear my underwear UNDER my clothes.
3) I resolve to procrastinate only when I really have to.
Happy New Year!

mine?

1. to get up, and out of bed more often.
2. to get in bed, and rest when I really need to.
3. to start walking again.
4. to regain control of anxiety.
5. to show my husband just how wonderful he is.
6. to not let this pig dog of a disease run my life.

Okay, I'll give it a try:

1. To be more patient
2. To drink more water
3. To cook more and eat out less
4. I also resolve to never eat brussel sprouts, liver, or lima beans.
4. To not check out what is going on Neurotalk more than ten times a day:)

Ahhh Debbie I didn't know you were back to smoking again :(! I will pray for you, I know you can do it, you quit for so long as it was!

Have you talked to your doctor about quitting? Cold turkey is tough. Even with certain help it's very tough. I still take Clonazepam daily (1mg) and I rarely ever have cravings.

With that said... resolutions.

1. Exercise daily (unless medical orders prevent me from doing so)
2. Keep to my diet. This includes even more limitation of consuming foods from sources I'm unsure of (ie: prepare and cook for myself almost every meal)
3. Work on moving to Florida!!! :D My man's eager for me to move, and I really need a change :)

I was thinking these things we call New Year Resolutions. I don’t know why we think just because we add another year to our belt that it is time to make some changes…but we always make the effort.

I have decided that since we always make a resolution to lose weight and that one never works so I’m making one to gain weight …maybe it will work the opposite like the loose weight…sorry I hope you all got that…remember how blonde I am…

I agree with most all of the resolutions so dito.... I like the fingernail one too. I wish you all a very Happy New Year!!!

Everyone's resolutions are wonderful - both humorous and serious.

I already started mine in the end of last year. Now that all four of my boys are out of the house, I'm de-cluttering. My DH and I have spent the week cleaning out the storage room (3 truck bed's worth that went to the dump or the thrift store).

Then I organized all of my pictures that have been thrown into a box. They are all separated by child's name or family name (extended family pics). That took a half of a day last week.

Today I'm going through my clothes closet.

I'm happy just thinking about all of it being cleaned up and organized.

I think I'll even take my wedding dress to the thrift store. I can't fit into it, I have no daughters, and it takes up a lot of space!! I've been married 27 1/2 years, so it is probably yellow in the bag. I think it is time to separate.
