Default I got a job!

I applied online New Years Day, he sent me an email right back to come in to fill out an application. So yesterday I dressed for an interview and headed to town. I went to fill out an application with my resume attached. He took one look at my resume and said "I am sorry but you are over qualified to work here, can you start today?"

We chatted for a few minutes about pay and I left to go get something to eat and was back within an hour.

Now, it is only one of those call centers that they hire everyone that walks in the door but right now to me, it is a job! Something I didn't have yesterday at this time. I explained I am going to college and he assured me he would work around my schedule. I have every Sunday off and if I can get my 38.5 hours in during the week I won't have to work Saturdays either (but with school that is going to be hard)

I had 2 hours of training on the "Instyler" (a revolutionary hair straightner and curler) and was on the phone working calls. I had my first sale in the first half hour! but, then the rest of the night it was dead.

I am working today just so I can get some more experience. I met a really nice girl who has the same name as DD#1, and she was a GREAT help to me all night. Plus one of the other girls who took training with me I hooked up with to try to work together to help each other. She has never done sales before where I have it sure helps!

2009 seems to be starting out on the right foot for me! Let's just it continues!
