Hi everyone,
Just thought i'd post some pictures of my makeover day that I had yesterday - it was so much fun and I really enjoyed myself!! I got to have my hair cut by professional hairdressers and was really pleased with the results! My hair has always been really curly and wavy and it's been hard to manage so the hairdresser put some short layers into it! We didn't change the cut dramatically but it's looking a lot better than it used to thankfully!! After I had my hair cut, I got to go and have my nails and makeup done! That was so much fun and the lady that did them was really nice and friendly and helped me pick out some good pictures that suited me! I had my nails painted red and they didn't go very dramatic with the makeup as they said that I had nice skin for my age!! I went for the 'Smokey Eyed' look and they gave me lots on hints and tips on what would work for me and what wouldn't look right!! After I had my hair and nails done, we were told to go out and have a bit of something to eat whilst we waited for the photographer to come and take my pictures as there was quite a few people in front of us! We went to Starbucks and had a coffee and a bit of something to eat and came back about an hour later and the photographer came and took my pictures! He was really nice and friendly and he got me into lots of positions that made me look slimmer etc. It was amazing having the pictures taken as it was so clever how they did them ... they could just put a piece of pink paper over the camera lens and it would change the background colour but not me! The Photographer was very understanding about my leg also - I didn't want too many pictures of my leg as I am VERY self-conscious about it and he also got me stood in the best position so that it wouldn't hurt my leg too much than it already does!!! I took 3 outfit changes; I took a nice dressy dress and some leggings and then another dress and my leggings and a pair of jeans and a nice tshirt! After I had the pictures taken, me and my mum were told to go and wait in the reception area whilst they developed my pictures! They said it wouldn't take that long but there were loads of people in front of us so we ended up having to wait about 2 hours!!! When they finally came to show me the pictures, they said that they had a problems with the camera and lost about 10 pictures so I had to go and have some more done! By that point, my leg was hurting a lot more than it was in the morning and I was really tired but I managed to get some nice pictures after so long thankfully!! Once the photo shoot was over, we went and had a good look at my pictures!! They took 50 pics and it was SO hard trying to pick which ones we liked and which we didn't as they were all really nice! We would have kept them all if we could have done but it would have cost a LOT of money which we just didn't have! In the end, we picked 13 pictures that we liked best and they gave us a very good deal on them ... I think we got them all half price and 3 for nothing or something like that! It still cost a lot of money but my mum said it was well worth it so she didn't mind too much!! We didn't expect to get the pictures on the same day but my mum got the disk so we could take it straight home with us and that way, it made things easier as we didn't have to wait 6-8 weeks and we could re-size and print the images to any size we wanted!! After I had finished the makeover, we went and had a look around some of the stores and in Selfridges and I got a really nice top with my Christmas money that I had been wanting for ages!! We were really hungry also so we decided to go and have a nice meal in Pizza Hut and it was really nice!! All in all, it was a great day and it was definitely worthwhile even though it did hurt my leg quite a lot!! My mums hoping to lose some weight and then we are hoping to go again towards the back end of the year for a mother and daughter photoshoot - we have seen the pictures and they are really good and it's something we wanted to do!!!! You are beautiful on the outsite as well as the inside! I love that the make-up is so flattering and yet still natural. It sounds like you are having a great time. Thanks for sharing it with us.

All I have to say is WOW!!! Your Parents better tie you to the bedpost (lock you up) until you are at least 18..You are gorgeous..
 What beautifull hair and I love your new style....and your skin complection is to die for. If you weren't so young and adorable, I could really hate you...LOL!

Ali - what a beautiful person you are! I love the pictures and your new hair doo! I did that 15 years ago with a friend - we had so much fun!!

Your hair is gorgeous. Your color is what I pay too much for when my stylist dyes it. But nothing makes it shiny anymore. And your natural highlights!!
It's good you're not my daughter, you wouldn't be allowed out until you were 36!!!!!! 8-)
