Default The Best News Ever

My husband went to the doctor today for a checkup and to go over the pathology report. Wonderful report. There were two different types of tumors, but they were both contained in the kidney with no spread and they are the kind of cancerous tumors that do not require further treatment.

For one year, they will have him get CAT scans of his chest and abdomen plus blood work every three months, and they will be checking for microscopic spread. After one year, he will have the scans and blood work every six months. After five years, if nothing is found, he will be declared cancer-free.

He still gets tired easily, which they said will take months to go away totally. I see improvement every day, but he does still crash and has to shut down for awhile and rest.

We are outstandingly relieved and happy.

Thanks to everyone for the thoughts, prayers, and well-wishes.
