Default My silly eyes

I had my cataract surgery last October. Since then I have really enjoyed using no glasses. Vision wasn't perfect, especially when doing anything close. The last month I have had to us readers to use my lap top. I need them for the computer but the glasses are in the living room! Good reason. So I made an appointmnet to see my eye doctor and was able to get in today. The poor guy, after putting the weird thing in front of my eyes and putting up a graph he asked me to read the lowest line I can, last year after surgery I was able to read the lowest line. So I told I couldn't read any line. He rechecked to make sure he had his settings right and aksed me again and I told him the same thing. Poor guy.So he put the drops in and did a bunch of tests, looked at my optic nerves and decided I need to see the eye surgeon that took my ohter cataract off a year ago. This time if it wil help I will pay to have the expensive job done so I don't have to wear these readers. But I have a stygmatism and 'm not sure if sure if it will. If I have to wear these silly readers I'm going to get one of those teeny tiny ones that just sit down at the end of your nose. When my husband goes shopping with me we get bargain. We got a three pair in a pack that would work for both of us. So they look like a regular pair of glasses and I have to slide them all the way down , practically pinch my nose shut so I can watch TV and do my laptop at the same time.

I was sitting in the living room finishing my laptop work before going int o the office to put on my quiet music and my sleepy time meds and I was thinking. Joyce, what you wrote was crazy. You bought a 3 pack of reading glasses, your husband uses one, you use one in the living room, you have a third pair to just leave in the office! So I am wearing my third pair right now. But when I wasn't wearing them I was sitting up real straight to be as close as I could to the computer screen. Now I am comfortably lounging back, with bad posture, in my office chair. Befoe I had good posture but was sitting on the screen. Now I have bad posture but am comfortable! Oh well. You give and take
