that is such a shame. my prayers for his family and your dd.

i don't know why alcohol is such a big deal in young peoples' lives. maybe because it's "forbidden" for so long when they're young.

my niece goes to college in boulder which has a reputation for a party school.
hopefully her common sense will prevail.

thanks for sharing this sad story.

Judy - I so agree, I was talking with my DBF Mom yesterday. She grew up in Wales with the drinking of 16. She said drinking was not that big of deal and wasn't important cause it wasn't something that they could do and get away with it. Didn't have to sneak it. Wasn't such a crave there.

I really feel this country has commercialized it such.

That is so very sad Yabbit. What a tragic waste of life.

It's a horrid way to teach other teenagers a lesson, but I do so hope that all that hear about this, read about it, see it on TV will take it to heart and be more thoughtful about their drinking habits.

My thoughts and prayers are with all involved.

I saw this on the news.

It just hits so close to home, with two girls there. They may be "adults" now but it still worries me, especially when something like this happens.

I am wondering if this is the same girl we saw on the local news here. We are kinda close to each other.

This 19 y/o girl left an all night party with only shorts, and a light Tshirt, and was later found to be dead. She was highly intoxicated, and exposed to the cold night for a long time before being found.

Teenagers think they are invincible. 10 feet tall and bullet proof.

I am so sorry this happened to your DD friend. its a chilling reality to lose a friend. I will add all families involved to my prayers.
