OK, I just did an incredibly fun thing. I called AMN up in her Winter wonderland and told her we had a temp of 56 today. I know, I know, but it was so much fun. :D:D:D:D

Gaylord, Michigan. In the snow belt. Averaged 220 inches a year. I loved growing up.

I never was as stupid as those guys in Toledo though when I went ice fishing. One of the flight directors told me this morning they were all from Michigan. He went to Ohio State. Dummy... He knows I went to UofMichigan.

What's that January festival in Traverse City where we cut a hole in the ice and jump in for our 15 seconds of bravado?

It's the Polar Bear Club, Tom. Don't ask me how I know that..Well, for anyone east of here who's as sick of snow as we are, we're expecting 4 to 7 inches tomorrow, and you know it's moving east...Gak!

Geeee! looks like Ill be turning the air on next couple of days. Gonna be in low 80s. Cold snap coming Sunday, gona drop all the way into low 70s, brrrrrrr.

It's been in the low 70's in the afternoons now and we are READY for the 80's, 90's or 100's! :D

We are high and dry here so we don't even think of turning on the air on 'till it gets to 100 degrees. We turn it off at night to open windows and listen to coyotes as it's cool nights here in the desert. :cool:
