My monster spray is lavender too! Actually it's 3 drops lav oil, 1 drop of vanilla, and 1 drop of sandalwood mixed with water and glitter. It smells really good! I think she likes the smell more than the actualy monster killing abilities. but hey whatever helps you sleep at night.

I miss those days - my DD is now 10. I really miss the silly things.

Mine asked me that this year. I told her because Santa brings the toys but mommy and daddy have to pay Santa for them. AND he charges a delivery fee. Plus he already picked out all of the cool stuff, so mom buys you clothes. Christmas is no fun if you don't have any clothes to wear silly.

Mine used to say "hey! If you eat up the Christmas budget with clothes, there wont be any toy money left!" I would try to explain that having clothes is a blessing, or you will be showing those toys to your friends NAKED! My boy was ok with that. My girl was not. The next year my boy said "look, your gonna have to buy us clothes for school days anyway, dont waste the budget on them at christmas this year...please mom!" smartie pants isnt he?

He is 25 now, and when he buys clothes for friends kids, he said he cant help but giggle about them having to play naked because no one thought to get them clothes.

"Go to sleep my baby, go to sleep goodnight, the Lady Blue is watching you from up in the deep blue sky, go to sleep my baby, go to sleep goodnight...here comes the sandman, stepping along so light, he's gathering sand, in his little hand, for little (child's name)'s eyes...go to sleep my baby, go to sleep goodnight"

My mom sang this to all us kids and this post just brought back every word!
