This isn't the first time the baby and I have been kept from each other, but it's terrible every time. I can only hope and pray everything works out for the best, you know?That poor little kid has been through so much in her short life.

Okay, update. CPS is supposed to interview everyone involved. Here's one problem, this is going to span 3 counties. How much can go wrong trying to coordinate 3 different cps systems? UGH...

So we (here at my house) have not heard anything, have not been called nor had a house visit.

I am not sitting here letting this eat me alive though - it well could, but I refuse to allow it.

Finding everything I can to divert my attention, and doing laps around the ol' Rosary beads.

CPS should be able to see where the best place for your GD is. they must have a lot of experience with dysfunctional families and manipulative parents.

i pray they see the light, and it is you.

Oh that is awful, I am SO sorry that you, your granddaughter and your family are having to deal with all of this right now:hug:! I really hope that things get better real soon and that your granddaughter gets the help and care that she desperately needs and deserves.

She is absolutely adorable and is so lucky to have you - you're one incredible lady and I mean that!:hug:

Still keeping you and your family in my thoughts and prayers, Cath! I'm just still so befuddled at how these things can happen to good people. Lil Jadi deserves better and I'm praying she will get to see her Grammy soon.

I just don't understand what CPS does at times. I have seen to
many children put in the hands of the wrong person.
