Blech. Boring show. Keeps repeating from last night and the season finally.

I think one couple got married. The first bachlorette. They have a baby.

Not sure about any others.

Reminds me of shopping in a meat market.

It is all just a beauty queen show, nothing more than a guy getting to kiss a bunch of girls, girls fighting and crying. Rejection, face time on TV and then a "winner."

There seems to be a bit of TV production intruding into the original concept. "Big Twists" that will hopefully keep the viewers returning year after year since the "relationships" do not really turn into true love.

Except for the one bachelorette.

This time around, it felt like a bit of really bad acting. Did anyone else get that? I heard Jason supposedly slipped during his People Magazine interview about the dump being part of the script.

Not sure Melissa had been clued in but it felt as if Molly knew something was up.

I am sure maybe both women knew something was up if the After the Rose Ceremony had no audience.

I turned off the Part 2 within the first 10 minutes when no audience member truly was angry with how it went down. I wish I had been in the audience to say what was on my mind! Some sentence with low life slug dog gutter wallowing stupid creep, etc.

He kept saying how he was in love with both of the woman (Melissa and Molly). If I were either of them I would NOT want to commit to a man who publically admitted to being in love with someone else. It's either one or the other. He proved that you cannot make a commitment with someone if you're in love with someone else.

Every woman's dream......."getting the guy" who's already got another woman in the back of his mind.

The only "reality" about the show is the reality that there are a lot of jerks out there. I didn't watch the whole season but the end gave me a great opportunity to talk to DDs about what NOT to look for in a man and how to identify a liar/faker. LOL

I do think that Melissa knew what was coming. Her whole demeanor when she walked on stage was completely different. No big hug or kiss for her "fiance," no smiles, etc.

There was one bachelor show that at the end they showed bloopers. These bloopers were far more entertaining than the show. They had one girl trying to get the tears rolling and being emotional as she was sent home. Then she messed up and started cracking up. Another scene showed the bachelor and a girl trying to have an intimate conversation and one of the props fell. It was too funny.

I agree 100%!!

These women were attractive, had good jobs, seemed to have it "all together" yet they were putting themselves in this situation where they all wanted the same guy. Why??? What was so special about him? Did he have millions of dollars? Was he royalty? I didn't even think he was that good looking. What was the prize??

I guess when you come down to it, it is just a completely set up
show that the producers are putting together to try and entertain us
fools who watch it.

Probably all of the women are just getting their certain amount of
time to show the public their looks and personality in hopes that they
maybe found to entertain somewhere else. They might be hoping for a
movie contract or some other kind of THEY FOUND ME!!

What is really sad these are supposed to be highly intelligent people,
yet they are willing to make fools of themselves. They do put a few AIR
HEADS on.

I wonder if there is any money involved to win if you get the
most viewer recognition?

This show proved to me what a (blank) I am to have watched it all
these years. NO MORE FOR ME!!!!!!!

I think you are right, Jappy. I am sure the producers have a hand in how the show moves forward.

Perhaps originally, it was a reality show based on true human emotion, the attempt to find love even if it was in a public forum.

The phenomenon of the female psyche startled people. I recall that being analyzed by the media.

Maybe the producers felt that repeating the same process without any "new developments" would lose viewership so things began to be fabricated.

That is how it began to feel to me as the series has progressed. Not all the women knew? It is such a isolating experience that it is intensified for all of them?

Wasn't it Andy Warhol that said something about people and 15 minutes of fame? I cannot imagine that Melissa was secure about being dumped like this.

Maybe I am just that gullible though!

Aarcyn

Yes the 15 minutes of fame.

I say now that I won't watch the next show. But I think out of
just pure curiosity I may watch the begining of the show to see what
they are going to try and convince the viewers of this time.

If anyone is interested in AFTER "After the Rose", here's the link to the email exchange between Jason and Melissa, as obtained by Access Hollywood. And yes, it's real -- Melissa confirmed that today on the Ellen DeGeneres show. (Read from the bottom up.)

This was the worst season I have ever seen. I think Jason was an idiot to bring his 4 year old son into the show.

I sent CBS an email and told them it was just horrible the way they let Jason dump Melissa on national TV. I told them I thought it was a stunt for ratings.

It just hacked me off so bad. They should have skipped the after show and let Jason break off with Melissa like a real man! He is a wimp!

He is divorced, fell in love with Deanna, fell in love with Melissa and then Molly. Poor Molly, I hope he doesn't hurt her!
