I keep getting these remodeling inspirations, but I've had a hard time convincing DH to get cracking on any of them. We have all the stuff to complete multiple projects just languishing away in the garage - bathroom exhaust fan w/light, new doorknobs, bicycle hangers, garage shelving and workbench. Yesterday I got after him to do SOMETHING with the totally useless powder room off my almost useless laundry closet. If we tear out most of the wall in between, take down the huge ugly mirror, take out the frou-frou cabinets and put in a utility sink and shelves, it would be SO much more usable. I told him he might as well get a crowbar and get to work, because he can't make it any worse than it already is!

See, hubby to be is a great handy man. He fixes stuff. In fact I rented him out last summer to my friends when they needed stuff fixed. I have another friend who has about 4 weeks worth of stuff for him to do but he is dragging his feet about doing it.

I am the great project starter. I cannot tell you how many blanket pieces I have or beginnings of projects that I "will get to eventually". My eventually craft bag has become my eventually closet with new inventory added weekly.

Hey kiddo!

I got ya beat on procrastination.

I only wanted one child so after my son was born I cut up all my maternity clothes to make a baby quilt for him.

He is 40 years old now and I will get started on that quilt one of these days!
