Gosh Ali - I know how hard this is for you. I remember automatically picking up the phone one morning and dialing my Mother. When the recording came on that her # was no longer in service, it hit me so hard.

It will be 2 yrs in June and I still miss her every day. We have our memories to hang on to and the knowledge that our Mom's are no longer suffering. Hang in there; time heals, but it takes a while. Hope your Dad will be OK, too.

take care and sending hugs and prayers your way.

I totally agree with how hard this is. That was one of the hardest things to get used to. My mom died in 2006 and I still struggle with this. I don't forget anymore, but things come up that only she would have understood and I don't have her to call anymore.

I do hope everything turns out OK with your dad.

I am so very sorry about your mom.

My mom died in 2002, and I miss her like crazy. We used to write each other letters every week and talk on the phone every Sunday. We lived far away from each other, but we were very close.

It's very hard to lose your mother.

Alison, there are two people who are still alive, in my dreams....My Mom and My DH. When I awaken, it takes me a minute to realize they are not..

I still reach for the phone to call my Mom and she passed away in 1993.. And, I'm always calling out to DH and he died in 2004.

Bless You..

Oh, Ali, I'm so sorry . I know how hard it is. The one year anniversary of my mom's death was a week ago. My thoughts are with you .
