I swear, since starting copaxone i have a bad case of CRS. I cant remember which cord goes with which camera, or MP3 player, and what drawer has the pens that write (i have a house full of pens that dont write) and so many other examples of me standing there scratching my head wondering what this thing goes to. My hubby got me a label maker. Woo! I am having a blast. I have put labels on those tangled cords, and now when I need to charge my camera I know which one it is. Since I am visually challenged now, its great to use the BIG font and know at a glance without having to search for glasses or a magnifyer.
Does anyone else use a label maker? I am a label making kid lately. This is great!

OH yes! I purchased a label maker a couple of years ago. Before that I used masking tape as labels!

I know what is what - it's just finding it! All things should have their own GPS.

That is a great idea, Dej!!! I've seen the label makers in the stores and have even picked one up to buy, but didn't. I am putting one on my list, as I feel just like you!! Too many chargers, cords etc, plus I can never find anything.
Thanks!!!!!!!!!

I'm glad I am not the only person to do this!!
I had a desk drawer full of cords & battery chargers and spent one morning finding out what cord went to which device and labeled away. Makes life so much easier!! Last edited by Risby; 04-07-2009 at 08:38 AM. Reason: typos again!! |

I don't have a label maker and if I did have one I am not too sure I would remember to use it. But I did take all those cords/chargers, found out what cord/charger went to what, put them in plastic Ziploc bags and labeled the bag. Does that count?

I love both Ziploc bags and label makers for trying to reign in all of those pesky cords.
