Default What cars have you owned?

Since I am on this car "high" with the new ride, I thought I would see who could list all the cars they have owned. For me, it's a lot. for some, maybe only a few. lets test our memories.

First car ever I got when I was 17:
1970 Bug (1986 - 1988)
1984 Isuzu 4x2 pick up (PUP) (1988 - 1990)
1974 VW Super beetle (1990 - 1993)
1984 Honda Accord hatchback (1993)
1984 Nissan Sentra (1993 - 1995)
1988 Pontiac Grand Am (1995 - 1996) Biggest peace of crap ever)
1992 Toyota Camry LE (1996 - 1999) Most luxurious car I owned, it had leather
1986 Honda Accord (1999) rough times, had to sell camry to get cheap car)
1995 Toyota 4x4 Pick up (1999 - 2001) Loved this truck,
1995 Ford Windstar Van (2000 - 2002) First gimp vehicle, had hand controls)
1996 Ford Explorer (2002-2004) (friend bought it, still has it w/250K on it)
2000 Ford Explorer (2004 -only owned it 3 months)
2003 Chrysler T+C Wheelchair Van (2004 - 2008)
2009 Ford Fusion - FELIX 2009 - forever- I will own it until the wheels fall off

14 car's, not too bad. some I miss, some were terrible.

how's your memory?

Your list is longer than mine, Earl

1979 Camero
1988 Jeep Cherokee
1998 Suburban
2006 BMW

All of the above I kept until buying the next one - all of them were new.

About 5 years ago we bought a 1964 Pontiac GTO for fun and it is

My first car (when I was 17) was a 1977 Camaro. Then, after I married, we had a 1980 Cutlass Supreme. My DH worked for GM so he liked to change out cars every two years or so. He had a Camaro SS at all times....whatever year it was. I drove the Cutlass for probably four years. As we got older we had more family type vehicles. I think my favorite was the Chevy Z71 truck......I loved that truck. He sold it and ordered a Pontiac WS6 Ram Air that I think I drove probably 3 times total. It was a 6-speed and I didn't like manual transmissions. That car could fly, though!

Since I've been on my own I've had a Toyota Camry (was totaled in a wreck in 2005) and a Honda Accord. I know.....I'm a traitor.......

Heh! I can't remember! Mostly Hondas, most MADE IN OHIO!

There was a Toyota, 2 Pontiacs, 2-3 (???) Chevies, one Jeep CJ-7 Golden Eagle, an Acura, geez, that's all I can remember! In college, my gang and I were seriously into the "3-hour" cars.

Lol, I've had quite a few Volvos also. Loved them until about 1999 when they started getting too fancy for my taste. All those electrical gagets are expensive and frustrating to fix. I'm now a Subaru gal and love it.

I've had, sorry can't remember all the years:

Chevy Vega, urrgh
Fierro GT
Nissan Sentra X2
Volvo 740 wagon, its an '89 and looking ugly but running strong
Volvo 240DL
Volvo S70
Subaru Forrester, love this car!

I forgot to add my bikes to my list.

In 1999 I bought a 1993 Harley Sportster 883 bored out to a 1200, it had a 24 inch wire front wheel, fat bob tank, screaming eagle pipes, did NOT look like a sporty.

in 2000 I bought a 1996 Harley Dyna glide convertible (the convertible means you could remove the windshield and saddle-bags) This was a big twin and I loved that bike. DEW made me sell both to buy our first house. Grrr

For that matter, I also owned a Coleman pop-up camper trailer, and a 25 foot Bayliner cuddy cabin speed boat at one point in time.
