Default Mile high pie!

Yesterday we took a little day trip with our youngest daughter and hubbie to The Land Between the Lakes. I guess you could just stay there all day long and hike and do just anout anything./ But we just did the afyternoon and ended the day up in Grand Rivers at Mr. Bills for supper. They and Pattis are known for their mile high pie and 2 inch pork chops. To ssave money and our stomaches we settled for the one inch pork chopa dnhad more than enough to bring home. I had to leeave some room for the pie! Now I could just eat a merange (sp?) pie, I don't need any filling but I settled for the cocoanut. I usually try to eat the filling and then pick up the merange and eat it like a cookie or whatever. My daughter has a new boxer puppy so they brought thier two daogs with them. They are great travelers and very content to sit in the car while we get out and do something.

I've decided that I don't take good pictures of dogs that are in motion.

That pie looks absolutely delicious. I'm glad you had a good time

The title threw me too, I thought it was about a pile of clothes to wash a mile high

Haha! I thought it was something else too!

Love Land Between The Lakes! We used to go there several times a year when Jim was stationed at FT Campbell. We almost drowned there too in a bad storm but that's another story. haha

That pie looks yummy.

I feel left out, I thought it was about really tall pie, and it is.

Glad you had such a nice day, Doyd, isn't it nice to be able to play outdoors again?

What? No pork pics???

Please don't tell me it was Coconut Cream pie or I'll just faint away, for sure. Cute pups and the pie makes me hungry. Think I'll go have another brownie!

Glad to see you post about having a great family day, Doyd! Sounds like just what you needed.
