Bummer, Sal! But, you're right, it could have been monumental and it's good that you kept your sense of humor. FYI, installing an indoor pool takes a tad more planning. ;)

When bad things happen (and they do) the only way I can get thriugh it is tell myself at least I have a water heater in the basement of my house to break, a frig, stove and dishwasher in the kitchen of my house, a pool filter, etc. you get it. sometimes use humor (Ha!) and perspective is hard. I have to tell myself maybe I can't walk, but I can afford the good wheelchair (insurance doesn't pay enough on it) It can be a cold comfort but all I've got. Ah Sally, always on weekends, I once had my stove break with 15 people invited for Thanksgiving dinner. Thank goodness they were all good sports. I cried anyway.

Kicker - I once had about 30 people over for a family reunion cookout. And then we had a tornado.

I guess we all have that *good planning* gene.

On the bright side, everyone was safe in my cruddy little embarrassing basement, no damage or nothin'.

:)

Sal, my sewer backed up in my condo twice and I had everyone's poop from the neighborhood flooding my utility room and living room! I think I burned out brain cells bleaching everything. Just imagine me running around hopping over torpedos screaming "We've got other people's poop in our house!!!!"

Did you smile? That's a true story. It happened twice while we lived there, seriously.

Oh, Sandy, thats awful :vomit2:. Thank heavens I have a basement and I only had minor backup in the shower, down there, when the drain blew off.. The rest of the basement was just water.

I hope all is dry and your feeling better today.
