Do all portable DVD players come with cords so you can plug them into a wall outlet? I've looked at a few on Amazon, and they don't SAY they have a power cord...but they also don't list them under "accessories". I'm trying to find a user-friendly one for my husband for his birthday.

Ours came with a cord. Check out the specs through Amazon and it should say if it's ac/dc or both. If all else fails go to the manufacture and see if they have more info listed.

You would need the plug to charge it so it should come with it!

Mine came with one...and a car charger too so that you can play it in a car.

not a dumb question at all.
some only come with the ability to use batteries. Check under the specs of the product, and look for "what is included" it should list the power cord. If you dont see a power cord listed, "assume" that one wont be. they have a link to contact the seller, and you can ask them the same thing. Smart to check it out before hand.

Not a dumb question at all. We had one that was battery only and had to buy the charger separate.

I bought a Magnasonic 9in, and I think the model number is DVD8502. It cost me $119 retail (about a year ago), and it came with a battery option, charger, car adapter, carrying case, and cables to hook it up to your TV if you want to use it simply as a "player".
