Question Will Swine Flu Postpone the MS Walk?

With all of the precautions being taken in various communities to reduce spread of Swine Flu, do you think it's possible that the MS Walk will be postponed this Sunday in parts of the U.S.?

that depends.
if it's a community that has active disease and it's spread, for instance in the schools, then that might be cause to disband crowds.

but if that's not the case we all should live our lives and do what we usually do. wash your hands tho. gloves give a false sense of security and in my mind can make things worse because you feel safe.

just wash your hands and get in the habit of avoiding hand to face/mouth/nose contact. i feel the same way about masks, unless someone has active disease.
masks only help for so long. they don't work forever. medical professionals have to change theirs frequently.

well, here i am going off at the mouth. you didn't even ask about this. but i like to give nursing advice. sorry. imho

Are you doing the Riverwalk Debbie? I walked there for years for the MS walk. The only other places I've walked is downtown and Busse Woods. Naperville is a really nice place for the walk and have great places to sneak in for coffee!
