Heart Birthday Season
My 58th birthday was on April 19th.

My best friend took me to the casino, bought me a OSU sweatshirt and took me to lunch on April 15th.

My brother and sister took me to lunch on my birthday and I got presents and a wonderful lunch.

My next door neighbors surprised me with cake and presents on the 24th. They brought me a gorgeous cake, hanging basket of flowers, a case of Dr. Pepper and a picture frame.

My other best friend and her little girl took me to lunch on the 26th, we had a margarita along with our Mexican food and she took me to buy flowers for my birthday present. Her little girl made me a hand made birthday card that is now on my fridge forever.

My neighbor said it was my birthday season. I thought that was hilarious. I'm still ready to party and receive gifts. LOL After all, I am 58 and I earned every year and wrinkle I have. LOL

These are pictures of my sweet neighbors surprising me with "My Birthday Season".

I think I will have a "Birthday Season" every year now. It's not the gifts but the thoughts, planning, smiles and love they showed me. That is the real celebration.

It sounds like you have a great family and such nice friends. I'm happy for you!

I also turned 58 this year, in February.

That chocolate cake sure looks yummy!

I am still celebrating!!! My best friend is going to try to drag me back to the casino to have more fun! She emailed me today. I also have one more lunch that hasn't happened yet.

I am not releasing any photos of myself until I lose some weight. Neurontin is making me a blimp. Are you buying that excuse for weight gain Twink?

I will wear my sweatshirt in the Fall when I am thin again.
