Um, yep, that's why they gave me money when I wrecked my car. Actually, it was the jerk who ran the light who wrecked it.

Always have, always will, AAA has consistently given me competitive rates and I never, ever worry about whether they'll come through for me.

I have State Farm. Have had it for years but I might just see what AAA can quote. I pay $956 a year for full coverage with $500 deductibles on comp and collision. I thought that was a pretty good deal. If AAA can do better I'm jumping ship!

We've had AAA forever. My son has it. Both insurance and road service. We have them for our summer cabin and boats too.

We get 3 tows a year on the same car. I used two of them when my brakes burst on my old Windstar! (I donated it to a local charity, and had the second tow to that location).

They had accident forgiveness long before the discount insurances started advertising. I hit a curb (pushed over to it by the car next to me), but did not hit anyone. I had substantial damage to my tire/left front suspension and I got a letter saying no increase in rates because we were good drivers! This was almost 10 yrs ago.

They are really good. Fast claims, nice reps. I wouldn't change unless I was forced to.

The road service is excellent. But now a days, breakdowns are less common. We like them alot.

I have the AAA for problems with cars. I had a car accident in 99 and was going to use it, but didnt have the card with me, so they wouldnt come tow my car the first time I tried to use it. I was trying to drive the car home from the dealership that I'd taken the car to for a damage estimate, the dealership didnt secure the front hood, and it was a windy day. I turned around to go back to have them tie it down, and the wind caught the hood and it went up into my windshield.

Called AAA and they refused to come get me and the car. Luckily, I was in front of another car dealership (Dodge) and they came out when I started having a nervous breakdown in the middle of the street (kicking the car) and they drove me to where my mom was, and towed my car for me for free.

Other than that one bad experience, I've had great experiences with AAA. I use the discount for hotel rooms on vacations, and I've had them come jump the car for dead batteries and I've had a couple of flat tires fixed. So, even with the one bad experience, I really like AAA.

I have the AAA premier or whatever it is. I also buy the same plan for my daughter. When she was a dependent it didn't cost to much to have her as an associate member but I now pay full price. I love all the trip tiks, you can get them in the office or yourself on line. The tour books are wonderful They make for some good reading and family conversation while traveling. Discounts and discounts. Pizza Hut, Target Barnes and Noble, local events, a lot of stuff. Well worht it. And my husband knows that if I am stranded on the road that they are a phone call away. With the premier you get a much longer tow, gasoline and everything.

I'm sold!! I'm sending in my info to them today and joining. It'll be nice to know that I'll never be stranded on the road. I figure .17 a day is a good deal for that kind of reassurance. :)

AAA believer here too!

I have AAA Plus for both myself and the man, and the college DSD and the delightful neice who is also in college. I got tired of driving to wherever the girls broke down, went off the road, had a flat, ran out of gas, always in the middle of the night!

AAAPlus gets you 100 miles of towing too, a must up here in Maine, where you can break down on a normal day and be more than 100 miles from civilization! If my tow doesn't get us home or to our mechanic, we just call back and get another tow under his card!

The discounts come in handy, the triptix come in handy, the special offers on travel, etc etc etc.

I try to take advantage of every perk they have available, it can even pay for the cost of the membership if you work them hard enough!

It did take awhile for the girls to get used to NOT calling us when they had a problem! We finally just told them use the AAA card or pay for the tow yourself! They get it for free from us until they graduate and get a job and then it's on their wallet. The neice has kept signing up for school and she says it's so she doesn't have to pay for AAA herself...:p

She's on her way to a Doctorate so it's worth it for me!!:D

I have been a member since 1979, and will never cancel it.

Great discounts, and they will help you plan a trip with maps and books about the area you are going to.

A secret to the trade is TAKE THE BOOK into the hotel when checking in. If you show them their ad in the book its a BIGGER discount than just asking for the AAA rate. I was floored when a saw a lady check in and got a higher discount than mine. I asked the clerk, and she said BRING THE BOOK. show us the ad, and its a better discount. The books are free.

Many online stores discount for AAA and payless shoes will sometimes let you show your card at the counter. Look for the AAA sticker on the door. some restaurants, and entertainment places will also discount for it.

They are pretty fast when you call for service. Free battery jump, free gas if you run out on the highway. They will come tow you no matter whos car you are in. I get the extended plan with RV so if I need to be towed further its not problem. They will pay for emergency lodging if your stuck due to car repairs. it goes on and on.

Between AARP and AAA Im all set.

Even Dunham's sporting goods gives 15% discount with AAA card.
I've used this one quite often.

And besides you get free BAIL if you get arrested :p
