They're popping up all over the place here, Doyd. I do love to scour other people's junk for those untold treasures. But, with a move in my foreseeable future, I really have to curb the desire to accumulate new junk. Pity me!

I'm having a yard sale in the next couple weeks too. I have half a room full of boxes and haven't even started clearing the attic yet. Once a year, my town does a community garage sale day - you have the sale in your own yard, but they advertise for you. That's always a good time.

What were the original prices when new?

You can group them like $5 each or 5 for $20. if you have a ton of them. Buy 5 and get the 6th one free kinda deal.

Make sure they are clean, and not covered in dust or grime, the cleaner they are the bigger the price.

I have never bought any of the expensive stuff. It has either cost $10 at JoAnne fabrics or I have painted it myself. I have done a lot of the little accesories myself. I even took my Moms preschool playdough recipe, formed some headstones and made a little cemetary. I did the same to make a little area for a man selling Christmas trees right off a mountain that I made from styrafoam and fluffy cotton covering.

My daughter and son in law came over today and we finished cleaning out everything. That wonderful beautiful new family room we finished last winter is so full you can't hardly walk to the laundry room. So now I just need to sort everything so it can easily go onto the correct table and price it all. My son in law, I don't think he has ever been to one. He says just to put everything out and don't worry about having everything on certain tables. And just put my Christmas village in a sealed box and put a price on it!
