Default Good news! Anything GOOD!

It's a beautiful day in MI, sunny and cool. I finished my project for the lads at the detail shop and I'm scouting out my next and probably last car.

I'm getting one of those automatic hook-lift dealies instead of a van 'cuz I'm just not a soccer mom and I aim to keep moving as long as possible.

It's a fine day for the Hibachi, I have some charcoal left, and I might just throw on a nice steak for dinner.

My friends and family are all adequately well, my stocks went up a tiny bit this week, my fridge is empty and I don't care!

It's a perfectly good day!

It's one of those electric hooks that picks up the scooter/chair and swings it into the back, then puts it down for you. My balance is worse than a one-legged toddler's and this will be loads easier to load and unload. A heck of a lot cheaper than the van, too!

It's a great day here in Illinois. The boys are coming over and cooking for me. Jim is doing well and how can one not smile when you wake up alive and ready to face the day?

Good thread Cin. Oh and check your Pm's. I know how much you love it when someone tells you they wrote you. LMAO

I know, you want me to click on this right?

Watch this. If you don't laugh over this something is not right. How can tearing up paper be so great? Just watch.

Oh I have other good news! I called UIUC and asked them to please consider me for the HRE (Human Resource Education) certificate. I was only three classes shy of my CCTL (Community College Teaching and Learning) masters degree and it would be almost impossible to try to get back into the program without doing it all over.

They said yes!!!! I qualified and I am on the list to receive the certificate!

Sandy, that video clip was great......I love to hear babies laughing.

We had such as good day. Went out to lunch (had to wait 45 minutes but that was OK. We talked to a really nice older lady and her daughter). After lunch we went to Home Depot and the boys bought me flowers, Miracle Grow Potting Mix and two planters to put on the front porch. We came home and made two beautiful planter pots to go on either side of the bench on the front porch. Red and yellow flowers.....so pretty!

It just started raining. We're supposed to have storms tonight. We're planning to have hamburgers on the grill tonight but we'll just have to see what the weather does. Might just be on the George Foreman grill!

I hope everyone had a good day today, whether you're a mother or not!! (That didn't sound right but you all know what I meant! ).

Jappy - I don't live in a secluded place and there is a major airport close by so these pies would be so, so, easy to deliver to ME! LOL

AMN - I love watching hummies. They total fascinate me. Enjoy your hummies.
