Things just got better for my b-day!

boyfriend just called me, and he was able to partially resolve one of his problems that was keeping him from driving up here today to hang around with me. So, now he's going to be here a little later today.

My boyfriend just left to go home. We were....uhhh...watching movies...ummm....yeah. (actually watched The Mummy 3 and most of the Legend of Drunken Master)

So, my birthday went pretty well. Boyfriend had me pick out a piece of jewelry that he bought for me. A Black Hills Gold pendant. (silver, with the gold leaves) My aunt that lives across the street gave me a marcasite pendant and a sterling silver ring.

My crazy aunt showed up (for that story, see the thread titled "I'm not sure what to make of this...") Thankfully she was sane today, from what we could tell. She got me a card. It was one of those musical cards. I was just glad that she wasnt screaming at any of us.

So, my birthday went pretty well today. Dinner was tasty. Got home from that and we had cake after the crazy aunt left. (I hid it...she'd probably want me to box her up a doggy bag if I hadnt. I claimed all the cake leftovers, because dangit, I like cake! I'm gonna be greedy with it! Mine!!! Yes. I am four.)

I had fun. It was one of my nicer birthdays, even if my boyfriend kept teasing me about being 40. (he's 1yr and 3 months younger than me)
