I spent 8 solid hours looking for a coupon book right before our cruise. I figured we'd find it once we returned home, but we never did! The thing was worth $300 (I assume you had to spend money to save money, tho).

What drives me bonkers is when I start looking in the same places again and again, even though I know darned well the thing isn't there. I just go in circles.

Good luck finding your player -- let us know when you do!

I try to do a methodical search. Pick one area, and search it well. Then make sure that area is closed off, while you go to the next area, and that way you are not dragging in areas that havent been searched yet. Top to bottom, and from the corner to the door. betcha find all kinds of stuff you have forgotten about.

I would be ticked off if I lost a coupon book before a cruise. that would just haunt me. did you find it after the cruise?

Nope, never did find it. Now I wonder if I ever actually received it. I probably did, but it sure is lost!

since my weekend plans are not happening now. (invited to the zoo, then dis-invited) I guess I'll use this time to do another search for my Sansa mp3 player.

I'm not sure why I'm obsessed with finding it. I have an iPod sitting on my alarm clock. I guess it's because I cant remember what I did with it after leaving the neuro's office. Totally blanked out on it. I hate it when my brain does that. Drives me nuts!

I know the perfect solution. Just go buy another one.....and then you'll find the lost one! Works every time! Keep your receipt, though, so you can return the new one!! :p

We did that the last time. That's why my mom has one now. (she never uses hers) The big reason I want to find mine is that it has a video on it of my dog that I somehow no longer have on my desktop computer. I want to copy the video back to my computer.

That, and I want to use it in my car. I wont worry about losing my iPod so much if I have that one as a backup. The Sansa is smaller than the iPod and doesnt take up as much room in my cupholder.
