Haha! That's hilarious!

To be fully honest, I am getting tired of all the talk about other sites here. I belong to other sites that are not MS related and I like to keep it that way. Lately MS seems to be creeping into my "other" life. That's right, I have another world outside of MS. Imagine that! LOL!

I'm with Frank. I have a "virtual" life and friends cause I'm sort of stuck at home, but they can go places and live life. I think kids are getting lazy and attention spans getting shorter.

Don't get me wrong here, I'm not dissing these sites. They are great places for getting together with friends and sharing chats and stuff.

I mostly live a virtual life now, too and If I could handle the stress (for me ), I'd be flitting about FB or MS, too...,But I would have to pretty much give up NT to do an FB membership, as some here have done and I don't want to do that.

For those of you who can multi-task....go for it.

I just thought the video was so funny and seemed to fit with my old fashion attitude..

That was great, Sal! I wept.

I guess that's how she can be with him and on the Internet at the same time!!

That was a funny clip, Sal. I tried Facebook......hated it. Way too overwhelming. It would keep me on the computer 24/7 just to keep up with everything! Plus, an old boyfriend found me immediately! Scary!! Reminded me of a stalker! That was enough for me.

Just a word of warning......a friend of my son's had his identity stolen from Facebook. He said he had all the privacy settings and only allowed certain people access to his page but it still happened. IMHO Facebook and Myspace makes public waaaaay too much personal information. Just in the course of conversation with others on the site you can reveal your identity and location without really even realizing it. It's just not a chance I feel comfortable taking.

But all those who love it......knock yourselves out!!

LOL, that was great Sally!!

I am on Facebook and find it useful for keeping track of what my friends and family are up to. I find it is a useful way of keeping up to date with what my friends and family aren't up to if I don't see them that much and just want to send them a quick message. I have some of my RSD and MS friends on there from off Neurotalk and other forums also and that helps and is another way of getting support.

I must say, I don't sit on it all day like some people though lol! That, I couldn't do - it would be too much for me!! Some of my school friends seem to eat, live and sleep Facebook - they are always on it from the minute they walk up, sometimes thru their dinner break at school and then again the minute they get home. I honestly don't know how they do it sometimes!!!

I have Bebo also which is pretty common over here. I really don't get it though so don't go on it at all hardly.

I find Neurotalk really supportive so couldn't give that up. People here have helped me soo much so I couldn't give it up at all and want to stay here as long as I can or as long as you can all put up with me!!!

Boy wasn't "he" singing the truth. LOL That was good Sally. I loved the "get a job and get off myspace" line. How true that is. I see it happen with DDs friends.

I don't do the FB stuff much. I mostly use it for family and hs friends. It is my place away from MS. I realized one day that everyone could see all my nieces and nephews that are on there and their information. I didn't like that at all. In addition, I really, really, really don't need to know what everyone is doing every second of the day. I don't care what quiz they took, what game they played, etc. It's just far too much unnecessary information. I don't go on there often at all. Not to mention that I have so many other ways to spend my time.
