Default Not sure about the poll...

But, I am retired...not by choice... as are many people here at NT. But I do enjoy getting to go to church "most" Sundays. I spend a lot of time reading my Bible and thankful I have this time for that.

I don't do as much cleaning as I could. I guess my priorities are different. I spend more time with my grandbaby and rest of family.

And I am enjoying doing a lot of "puttering" around with little things that I didn't use to have time for!

Good question!

taking my mom to appointments, the store, whatever. Doing things with my parents. Helping my dad with stuff.

For recreation, I read, crochet, knit, sometimes sew (with a machine), go out on dates with the boyfriend. Play with computers, go for walks, sit in the sun in the front yard (as long as it's not over 88* outside, otherwise I can only do that for 10 or 20 minutes)

Most of my recreation time is crocheting, knitting and reading. I can read and crochet at the same time. Or, I can knit and read at the same time. I love to make stuff.

I spend most of my time around the house - cleaning, taking care of pets, online (either forums or looking something up). I always have something going on here. Seems like I'm either getting ready for a holiday or I'm taking advantage of the nice weather, hanging at the pool or digging the flowers.

Lately i've been splitting my time online house hunting and tearing the house to shreds. Packing, boxing for garage sale, throwing stuff away. What a disaster!

Much more fun than the same ol' dusting and sweeping though.

Hi Faith,

I'm not unemployeed and still go to School although I have quite a lot of free time as I only go 4 hours a day, 4 days a week (Monday-Thursday) at the moment. I'm sure all of that will change though in September when I am going to college to participate in the Health and Social Care Course.

In my free time, I usually spend quite a lot of time on the computer on my site and Neurotalk and social networking sites such as Facebook talking to my friends.

I also like card making and scrapbooking so I enjoy doing that when I get time also.

I also try and catch up with some of my studies that I have missed during to hospital appointments, not feeling too good etc.

I am one of those people that gets bored really easily so often need something to do. I cant go out that much now so am in the house most of the time which can get really boring.

I watch movies on TV also. I enjoy watching films when i'm not feeling too good as they always tend to cheer me up a bit.

I hope you're doing well and find something to occupy you soon! :-) !

I'm pretty picky about my house being neat and clean....so I do spend quite a bit of time cleaning, doing laundry, etc. It takes me longer now but I have the time to do it. I also spend alot of time taking care of my pets and outside birds.

Now that I have the time I like to cook and try new recipes. I also love to read. Some days the TV doesn't even get turned on.

If I had enough stamina and ability, I'd be right there with you, Kell..

However, the first thing I do, in the morning, is turn on my TV nd then my PC....then....I go to the bathroom, let the dog out and feed him..

If I feel like it, I do some laundry, mop the floors and dust the furniture. On most days, though, you could literally eat off my floors and sign your name on my funiture..

I think I have my priorities straight..
