Default I just want clean panties!

I am soooo frustrated! I found a wonderful pair of panties that fit like a dream, years ago. I have tried to stock up on them when I see them on sale ever since. Well, as the years have ticked by, and the styles have changed, they are getting harder and harder to find. JCP used to be a lock, and zip, I could go in grab 6 pairs with a 3 for xamount offer. Now, I have moved to the back woods, and its rare to find a store that carries things like a mall.

I have found a JCP on the outskirts of a nearby town, BUT, its a tiny JCP, and it carries extreme little variety unless you are a double 00 or a size 2. XXsmall Petite is a common find in these stores. I want to know WHY?! Most of the girls in this town are 14/16. Trust me, we have some 24s and 26s bouncing around as well. YEp, we have the crowd that looks like starving Chihuahua, all shaky and hungry. but they are NOT the norm here. WHYWHYWHY are all of these stores double stocking on XXsmall crap and half ordering L or M sizes?

I have spent the last month seeking new panties, and am ticked! during my search I have found my exact style, and color, but not the size, and ITS ON SALE! I have gone to each and every cashier to ask if they can order my size and have it delivered to the store. ALL stores are OUT OF STOCK on my size and color preference. I asked one cashier, "if this size and color is so popular, that you keep running out, or cant keep it in stock, WHY dont you order 4 times as many?" I got the lecture about how she just puts out what they give her. NOT ONE store is allowing me to order them.

Oh, BTW, I CAN have them sent in from another store for an EXTRA $10 PER PAIR! Sheesh

Ok, lets play the internet game. I have seen them from $5 a peice to $12 a peice (yes, same exact pair) The stores that offer "free shipping" charge $12 a pair, but the shipping is free! IF you can find it in stock. so, I spent the last 2 hours trying to find panties! I am frustrated. I have had more pop ups from xrated girls (who are not wearing panties by the way) to mattress ads. WHY would you show me a mattress if I put in a search word of panties?

I give up! I am going commando.

I do my JCP shopping online. They have more stuff and will special order it, too.

Be sure to wash the ones you have, please..

This reminds me, I need to go to Dillards and buy some bras. Hopefully they havent discontinued it. The one I like minimizes things and actually holds stuff up, and seems to last a long time before it loses structural integrity.

Yeah...they've probably discontinued it.

Exclamation

I know the feeling! Kohl's stopped carrying the Jockey for Her tanks I love. I used to wear them under my scrubs.
But I wear them to bed when it is hot, and also around the house.
They are longer than the new shorty ones, and I like that too.
and 100% cotton.

I was so mad. No one around here carries them anymore. So I found a bunch on Ebay for $4.00 each and bought several ahead.

Amazon also, has them now.

I'd try online...like the other posters are saying.
Also I am pretty fed up with Target (they are doing the same thing with clothes... nothing for me there anymore!) I used to find great stuff at Target for me...but their buyers since they changed over have some kind of tunnel vision now.

I was almost afraid to open this thread after I read the title!!!

I love JCP for lingerie and sleepwear. I usually get panties 3 or 4 for $12 or something like that. I need to buy new ones, though. I hate spending money on underwear.....nobody sees it but me but it is a necessity that's for sure.

I hate trying on bras in the store dressing room. Always feel like someone is watching. I usually order mine online. Try Julia's Bra Shop - they have everything.....bras, panties, shapewear, lingerie, etc. I love them!!

Does anyone remember "lovepats" panties?

Mine lasted for years and washed and dried perfectly and kept their shape and mine. Now they have all passed on and I miss them.

I can't find them any more except for childrens sizes.

Seems like I find something I like and fits well then "poof" it's gone never to be found again.

You may want to try "barely there" brand. Kind of expensive but very comfortable and wash and dry perfectly.

btw:
Thongs are very comfortable actually and don't show under clothing....uhm.....I read that in Readers Digest I think??

Where I am, it's harder to find smaller sizes except in teener bopper fashions.

I really don't want pink and orange bras with bunches of lace and hearts and doo dads all over them - they show through all my shirts.

I order most of my stuff from Victoria's Secrets - they have a lot on clearance all the time and you can get about any size in any thing you need.

Nice website where you can shop by size or style. No trying on stuff in store - eeek! And free returns of course.

Janie - I never wore those until I had some unfortunate butt burning. VS has nice cotton ones, and tanga panties are good too.
