Default AAA discount on Rx

I just learned that AAA members save up to 24% on prescriptions at participating pharmacies nationwide.

The website isn't the greatest and it's a little confusing, but you can pick up the correct materials at your local branch to "begin saving right away!"

many pharmacies offer a special card for "their" pharmacy. Rite Aid to Walgreens. Ask the pharmacist if you pay cash, or have a large out of pocket co pay for your meds which program you qualify for. AAA, or AARP or several other clubs offer great discounts on meds.

If your supermarket runs programs like...hmm...buy $50 in groceries and save 10 cents per gallon on gas at certain stations, the pharmacy portion of the store also counts towards their promotions.

Many stores offer a store card for $10 or a credit for $10 or so off for each new or transferred rx. I have one Rx that i make the rounds with. its a narcotic, so it must be renewed with a NEW rx each month. Just by stopping at the pharmacy of a store I am already going to ...I earn money.

Walmart offers more than 400 prescriptions (generic) for $4 for a month or $10 for a 3 month supply.

Make sure to visit the website of the folks that make your Rx. They frequently offer coupons, or incentives.

Thank you so much for this information! I joined AAA not too long ago and this will be a big help for me....even though all of my prescriptions are generic except one.....every little bit helps. You're right....the website is a little confusing and it took me a while to get to the right section but it's there...you just have to keep looking.

Thanks again!
